Myspace Music Player Help

The Infamous Cache

If you are trying to delete songs, upload songs, or whatever, and you do not see any changes on your myspace profile, then this is probably because you need to clear your cache. Flash can be tricky, and although I have put in code that helps the premium player automatically do this, sometimes this still needs to manually be done. To clear your cache if you are using Internet Explorer, please go to TOOLS ---> INTERNET OPTIONS -----> DELETE FILES(BUTTON). For Mozilla Firefox, TOOLS --->CLEAR PRIVATE DATA and then make sure the CACHE checkbox is checked. Then click on Clear Private Button Now. Refresh your page, and everything should be OK!

Copy and Paste

To copy and paste text simply means that you want to COPY text you see somewhere on a web page and PASTE it into a word document, a text box on another web page or just about any program that lets you type in text! Simply highlight the text you want to copy, then right click and pick copy from the menu OR press CONTROL PLUS C. Now, this text or code has been put into the computer's memory. If this is the myspace music player code you are copying and pasting into your profile, your next step is to open your myspace profile. Click in the myspace profile section exactly where you want your newly pasted code to appear, right click your mouse, and then choose PASTE! That's it! Save all changes and you are done! Instead of right clicking on the mouse, you may also HOLD DOWN CONTROL and PRESS V. So basically, you press CONTROL PLUS C to copy and then CONTROL PLUS V to paste!!!

What is a URL?

Think of a URL as directions to an mp3 file on the internet. Before you can tell the flash player what song to play, you have to tell it where the song is. With a standard playlist at MyTunesLive.com, you need to give us URL's to your music. There is more than one way to do this. You can upload your music at a file uploading service, and give us the URL they give you. You can upload the songs to your own server, or whatever, just know that the mp3 file has to exist somewhere on the internet before our flash player can play it. PREMIUM MEMBERS DO NOT NEED TO PROVIDE URL'S! Our premium members can simply click on BROWSE on their premium only page, choose an mp3 file and WE HOST the URL for them! This is one advantage of being a premium music playlist member. Upgrade Today for a $10 special!
